Dissatisfied with the food choices and service, undisclosed extra fees at spa is unacceptable, too short of a rollercoaster ride for 15.00 it is overpriced , service and good at Farenheit 55 was horrid. Lido Deck food and desserts very few and desserts not tasteful . Very dissatisfied with my long anticipated Mardi Gras cruise

Horrible dinner experience at Farenheit 555 on 9/15/21 7:30pm reservations, horrible customer service , cold food , long wait over 90 minutes to eat burnt steak and tasteless dessert, the cheesecake tasted like peppermint, we requested a 2 ppl seating area in the main dining room and we were sat in a corner near the sink station , couldn't see anything as far as the little shows the staff put on, needless to say we didn't dine there the rest of our week, the spa has hidden fees, we booked and prepaid a Month in advance for a couples massage. We were charged an additional 40.00 total in mandatory gratuities that we were not made aware of prior to booking! A 223.00 for 50 minutes of "massage" turned into almost 300.00, NO FULL DISCLOSURE! SHAMEFUL!! KIDO deck has very few choices for dinner , they cut that out significantly, I know because I'm a platinum guest with carnival. They had 2 cakes only for dessert choices and both were inedible , nasty tasting and some dried up , stale miscellaneous cookies. The pizza also has changed, flavorless , I had to add salt and garlic to give some flavor to the white glob of so called cheese on it. Alot has changed and not for the better.i will be trying royal Caribbean or NCL next .

You have no other cruises listed, so if this was your first one why would you rate it so poorly. What did you compare to, just curious! I'm going on Mardi Gras in Feb 2022 and I personally can't wait! I've been on the Dream and Magic and Vista and they have all been wonderful. Your vacation is what you make it to be!!
That's too bad it seems like the majority of the people that are reviewing mardi gras here really loved it and commented that the food was one of the best things. Perhaps you just didn't have great luck
Wow, we really enjoyed the very big selection of food choices. The service was great every place we went. I did read that on the first few cruises everyone was getting the hang of things and a few quirks had to be worked out but we had a GREAT cruise on 9/4. Sorry of your experience.

I was on the first Mardi Gras sailing and I was very disappointed as well service was terrible, food was not good. same shows constantly and very chopped up ship. Was not crazy about the cruise director either. Probably will not sail the Mardi Gras ever again😔
The Mardi Gras was great. Can’t wait to go back. I enjoyed walking around the ship being adventurous. I will be platinum in 14 days. More perks, more fun, more adventures. Gratuities should be mentioned when making reservations in certain areas so it can be added to our budget. Don’t want my entire cruise spent in gratuities.
