Educational and entertaining
Review SummaryEmbarkation was pretty disorganized, as the computers were down intermittently and there was obviously no plan B. Royal Caribbean service is absolutely flawless, as everyone we met was helpful and friendly - slightly better than Carnival. However, onboard activities are a little less diverse, and we found that the schedule we received often featured different times/locations than what was actually happening and this was frustrating. The account statement we received looked like a computer garbled it together and it was unprofessional and difficult to decipher. However these are our only complaints. The cabin and meal service was absolutely flawless - not a single grumpy person anywhere on the crew. The food was fantastic and diverse and the ship itself is spotless, even though it's one of the older ones in the fleet. As for Havana - EXCELLENT! We got to see Cuba as few people have, and it was as much an educational experience as a tourist one. Cozumel...well everyone has been there and it's not much more than a giant money trap in most places. We did enjoy our snorkeling excursion at Playa Uvas and our guide there was fantastic, well worth the modest expense. Would recommend this cruise to anyone who wants something out of the ordinary for their cruise. Highly recommend this ship and this destination.

Spend an hour or so getting to know the ship, as some of the elevators and staircases don't reach all the decks.
