We already are looking to plan a return trip, just waiting on schedule, as we believe we were told by the staff, the Majesty of the Sea is repositioning to Tampa.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Great, the way they work the lines, makes for much quicker experience, and the on-line process expedites the embarkation as well. I am a diamond member, so I was offered some beverages and snacks, prior to priority boarding which was nice.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Dining overall across the ship was excellent, I did not partake in Johnny Rockets.
Main Dining Room
5 out of 5
Table 442 service was impeccable. the food was excellent and our wait staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a true dining experience every night.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I enjoyed the pool on our sea day, and walking on the deck in the early AM.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Schooner Bar piano dude was excellent, good at reading his crowd. The comedian was pretty good, and we always enjoy the Quest.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Every resource of RCCL I encountered went out of their way to know my name, ensure I was satisfied and enjoyed my experience. This as why I ONLY cruise RCCL.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I knew Majesty was recently released from Dry Dock, and it was clean and shiny, I chose the smaller ship based on ports of call, and would not use some of the activities offered on a larger ship for this cruise based on my cruising companions for this trip.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was clean and always freshened up by room steward, of course they are small, I only need a place to rest and get ready for my next adventure.
Ship tip
the Compass Deli and Pizza shop are a must, and the WindJammer Café has really stepped up it's game,
We did the snorkeling and sandbar excursion. I would like if the sandbar piece was longer and we had an opportunity for snack and better beverages, this was an amazing excursion, the location was perfect, crew fun and knowledgeable.
Actually the RC Majesty of the Sea will be leaving the fleet in 2019. It will be joining the Pullmantur fleet in Spain. Her final cruises in the west are the cruise to Cuba in March 2019 before she makes the voyage across the Atlantic. She will be moved to port out of Fort Lauderdale from November to March 2019 then up to Port Canaveral for her final cruises to Cuba in 2019.
We will cruise her there this September but she will be back in east coast of Florida next year as Royal Caribbean is pulling out of Tampa in April 2019
