Review Summary

I enjoyed the cruise and may give Royal Caribbean another try. But will not book another trip with Majesty of the seas.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Slow and unorganized. At least they offered a place to sit while we waited. The people and staff were very nice.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
We found plenty to eat, but the food wasn't very good and the selection was very slim to choose from. The tea and mango flavored "enhanced" water was very poor quality.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pool was small. The (4) hot tubs were always over full of children. Rarely saw an adult in there, and never found the opportunity to enjoy it myself. There was only one towel station, so there was always a wait line.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Great band performance at Scooner's by a 4pc band from Brazil. They played older rock music from the 90's and later. Very talented band.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was awesome! He went way out on a limb for our comfort and benefit. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Not enough restrooms available around the restaurant areas. I usually had to go all of the way back to my room for the restroom. That was a lot of walking. The ship seemed to be pretty clean in general.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The bathroom was a little smaller than on other vessels. On of the lights was broken. But the room was actually pretty nice.

Ship Tip

Take your own drinks (soda, water, etc.) The selection of non alcoholic beverages are not good for a southern guy that enjoys sweet tea and sweet drinks. The mango and strawberry punch is "enhanced flavored water" which tastes like watered down cool-aid. Virtually no taste at all.

Ports Of Call

Port Canaveral, Florida

2 out of 5
Not very pretty scenery from the ship.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We went to a pirate's museum. It was very informative and entertaining. We visited a few stores and purchased cologne, liquor, and Pepsi products for the remainder of the cruise.

Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island) Did not visit port

Due to high winds and safety concerns, we weren't allowed.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
We paid cash for our spending account. We settled our debit the night before so we wouldn't be stuck standing in line the next day. We made no more purchases. The morning of disembarkment, we received a bill for another 4 dollars. So we had to wait in line anyway for 4 bucks. We was off the ship by 8:30.
