Review summary

Let's just say this cruise didn't deter me from future cruises just future cruises on RCL. There were several instances were printed information said one thing and the crew said another. Very frustrating.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was a breeze. No Issues

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room was excellent and the highlight it's ashamed the other food option brought their 5 stars down. . The breakfast in the main dining room would also get an awesome if they would change how the food is delivered. The Windjammer was also very good although the breakfast wasn't the best. It seemed under cooked maybe due to buffet style rush. Also we bought the deluxe drink package and it's frustrating when you close up all of the bars but one or two and you have to travel to the other side of the ship for a drink.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
RCL really lacking in their Casino facility. A great source of income was not at all used to it's maximum capability. Other activities were satisfactory.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The stage shows were good. The pool deck movie was repeated a few to many times instead of them being repeated evenly in number of times shown

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Our eight year old had a blast and can't wait to take another cruise

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Presad and Savio our wait staff in the main dining room were awesome. Russell our room steward was also great. Overall the staff on board was very accommodating.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was older but for the most part clean. An occasional dirty dish in the Windjammer but just put it to the side and get another

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Once the wall beds came down it was very tight to move around.

Ship tip

Eat in the main dining room for dinner as often as you can it's superb. Filet, Chicken Marsalla and Rack of Lamb. Also you only have to dress up for captains night.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
It's great if you've never been or only once but next time we will look for a cruise with different ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

4 out of 5
This was definitely the highlight of the cruise. The one downside is the buffet. Get to it early because the last 30 minutes they don't put out any new food. You have to make due with what's left over. Thank fgod you can go to the Windjammer as soon as you got back on board for food. They were very busy which clearly showed the lack of food provided on Coco Cay.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We took our own bags off. From main lobby to vehicle was 26 minutes. We were on the road 45 minutes before our scheduled disembarkation time

It sounds like the drunk one was you. Too drunk to know what you are doing. Just which cruise line do you want to promote?

Saranimal - thanks for the reply.

ljshields4060 by your unsolicited crude comment you must be one of the rude @$$holes that can't hold their booze and attempts to board a fully packed elevator before people exit the elevator .

Gil155 The crew is the source. the printed info was hit and miss days 1 and 2. seemed more reliable 3 and 4.

That is a little frustrating! Who was right most of the time - crew? or material?
