Review summary
My wife and I took our three grandsons ages 10, 10, and 8 on this 4 night cruise. Check in was easy and fast. Every crew member we encountered was polite and professional. The rooms were small (one inside cabin that slept 3, and one ocean view cabin that slept 2) but I expected that on an older ship. The food was very good. The evening shows were average to above average. Every day the boys went to the "kids club" for 2 to 3 hours. The people who run that department were great and kept the kids busy. They wanted to stay there all day.....We didnt let them...We picked them up at 10pm every evening and then they went swimming. Very few people in the pool and hot tub at that time of night. Disembarking was easy also. The night before we arrived back at port, We kept our luggage in our rooms. Then we just carried our suitcases off the ship ourselves the next morning before everyone else..
NOW, the dislikes.....Both of our rooms' bathrooms smelled musty all the time. We carried a can of LYSOL on board and sprayed the bathrooms everyday, but they still smelled. We ate breakfast in the Windjammer every morning, and every morning they would always run out of clean silverware. THAT was a pain...The ship's pool is TOO SMALL for the amount of people that are on board. The sign at the pool said 38 bathers and there are over 2000 people on board. That's why our grandsons swam at night. Everything said and done, I would take this cruise again...BTW, when they stop at their own island (Coco Cay) and you plan to snorkle, BRING YOUR OWN GEAR....$49 to rent for adult, $35 for children...
