Great time on an older ship

Sail Date: October 03, 2016

Reviewed: 12 days ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

We had a ton of fun on our cruise. Some highlights included:

1) The service - our dedicated dinner servers (Diana and Vikesh) were AMAZING. Our room steward was also wonderful.

2) Entertainment options were plentiful and well done.

3) The kids program (Aquanauts) was exceptional.

Some room for improvement:

1) The quality of the food at breakfast and lunch was below average. Dinner was average.

2) The ship is clearly older and outdated. It did not feel especially clean.

Cabin / Stateroom
Our steward kept the room clean and orderly. However, because of it's age and the wear and tear on the room it, it did not feel especially clean. My husband, for example, refused to walk barefoot on the carpet.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Destinations were great. We declined to purchase any excursions because they were incredibly expensive for what you were actually purchasing and there were few options with our 4 year old.
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs
Service and Staff
Food and Dining

The ship itself is not great, but it's a great experience.
