Amazing time!

Sail Date: May 30, 2016

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

While Majesty is an older ship, the amenities and furnishings exceeded our needs. Staff, especially our cabin attendant and waiters, were exceptional. Food was excellent in the dining room. Food in Windjammer was good. We booked the Beach Loungers at CoCo Cay and the Rainbow Reef snorkeling at Nassau and I would recommend both. The private beach where the beach loungers are located is beautiful but this area is not a great place to swim. Swimming area is a short walk away. Snorkeling was well organized and great instructions. Plenty of coral and fish to see. Great time and we all enjoyed this cruise!

Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin was small but we spent very little time inside. Cabin Attendant Jill was excellent!
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Disembarkation at Customs was very long wait. . Long lines and only a few check points were open. Disembarkation with Majesty was organized and okay.
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs
Did not use, no children in our group
Entertainment was not as we expected.
Service and Staff
Loved Jill, our cabin attendant, and Caesar and Ikadek, our waiters!
Food and Dining
Port Canaveral, Florida
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
We enjoyed the Beach Loungers for two which included two chairs and a clam shaped cover, ice chest with water, fruit tray, and two floating mats (loved these!)
Nassau, Bahamas
Favorite part of our trip was the Rainbow Reef snorkeling. Most of our group had not been snorkeling before but all learned quickly. Beautiful coral and fish to see.

Read the Compass and plan the activities you really want to do. But allow time to relax and enjoy, too. We found the lounge on the top deck was quieter and also had great views.
We had some issues with photos taken and will take our own next trip.
