We used Park n Cruise just outside of the port and found it to be a great value and service. The new terminal is just great with plenty of room and staff and the boarding procedure went smoothly. We live 50 minutes from the port and we left our house at 10:30am and were having lunch in the Windjammer at 12:30pm - a testament to the efficiency of the boarding - wish I could say the same for the disembarkation!!!
Once settled 1 piece if our luggage arrived, but the other never was delivered as the luggage tag had been ripped off and we had to go down to the 1st deck to identify it and bring it up to our cabin, but after that everything went smoothly.
Our first day was at Coco Cay, where we had been many times before, but this time we had reserved some beach chairs with a clamshell shelter up at the north end of the island. Transportation was provided and we were quickly there and got our space right on the water and with the two lounge chairs, floating mats and a cooler with two large bottles of water on ice, we greatly enjoyed our day. Transportation was provided for us to get lunch at the barbeque and returned us. It is a nice quiet area with its own bar and a great attendant. Best value on the entire trip!
The next day was Nassau, where we had been so many times we almost did not get off the ship, but as we had the most inside birth it was a short walk. We were very pleasantly surprised with Nassau as there has been a great effort to clean up the main areas and found it very pleasant. Also there has been a good job done with making everyone much more friendly. It was an enjoyable time spent there.
The next day was spent "cruising". We were able to get a great spot under cover by the pool and spent a relaxing 8 hours our there and enjoyed the barbeque poolside.
We usually don't eat all our dinners in the Main dining room, but we had such a great waiter it made it almost impossible to eat anywhere else. His name is Raymond James and is from Jamaica. He was just wonderful - very professional while having great interaction with his guests. He couldn't do enough to please you and if there was a mistake from the kitchen he corrected it immediately and made sure it never happened again.
In addition, our cruise director, Marc Walker, was by far the best of any cruise we have ever been on, no matter what the cruise line. He is the ultimate professional and his staff was second to none. Kept everyone going all the time and was always making sure the guests enjoyed themselves. Really great.
The only negative was the disembarkation procedure. Those wishing to eave early were asked to go to deck 4 where it appeared half the ship was. It took quite a while, it was hot and everybody jammed into small spaces created a lot of tension and numerous "skirmishes" took place between guests. There should have been someone from the ship providing security as we almost had two fist fights right in front of us. I know it is a difficult problem for the ship, but there needs to be a better solution.
Other than that it was a really nice ruise.

She is an older, smaller ship that does not have all the amenities of the newer ships, but makes up for it with a great staff.
We've sailed on her 5 times and still enjoy her.
