The 3-day trip to Cococay and Nassau was spectacular.  We had a wonderful time both on and off the ship.  Everyone was very friendly and helpful.  Our Dining room servers were wonderful and gave great suggestions every night.  The food is ok, not great, but ok.  The Windjammer is a great place to grab a quick breakfast and/or snack later in the day. The pool area is nice and full of entertainment. The shows were fun and entertaining.  We tried to do everything we could on the ship and that included shows, dancing, shopping, etc.  A 3-day trip is very short to enjoy everything. Cococay was nice and relaxing and the food was great, not to mention the Coco Loco. Nassau was also fun and we had lunch at an authentic Bahamian restaurant which was great.  We also visited Atlantis (not on a tour) and walked and shopped through downtown. I would recommend this trip to first time cruisers to get a taste of what it is like and then move on to longer days.  Just be aware of everything by reading all the fines lines about insurance, automatic tips, etc. and keep track of all your receipts on board and make sure before you board that your online credit is applied to your bill.

The room was small but we fit just fine, considering all we did in there was shower and sleep, so it was good. Our 15 year old son slept on the pull down bed from the wall and he said it was comfortable. During the day we would push it back against the wall to create more room. Our King bed (made up of two twins put together was very comfortable. The bathroom was small, but larger than what I expected, so it was ok to shower. My husband is over 6 feet tall and he was fine in the shower. The room was always cleaned at least twice a day so that was great.

Ship Tip

Try and take advantage of my time dining. We dined at 6pm, which at first was hectic to get to since we are participating in activities, but later on you realize it was perfect, since you could then take advantage of the shows, some start as early as 7:30pm.
