To begin we were informed at August 25th three days prior to sailing that there was going to be a major maintenance on the ship so we were prompted to arrive after 4pm to board. The sailing time originally was for 4.30 pm so when we got to the port we boarded around 7 pm. That meant that we were never shown the safety instructions on the ship and that we missed the whole day prior to sailing to enjoy onboard activities. Also we encountered heavy lines during boarding and extended waiting time to check in. I have to mention that we have been waiting on the port from 4 pm. After that we sailed around 8.30 pm from the port of Miami with our destination for the Cococay Island.

      We went for dinner at 9 pm and we requested table for two. After some time waiting we were given a table next to garbage collection in the restaurant. We did not complaint because e already had a bad mood from the boarding before. After ordering our plates we were completely forgotten and requested again and again our food and wine. After 40 minutes waiting we were served and completed our dinner. Food was just ok. Before leaving the restaurant the chief waiter approached us and told us very quiet that because of some storm we will not visit cococay but we will go to Freeport. This was completely unacceptable and rude from the staff to inform us that way and with no official explanation from the ship authorities. Also we were given flyers mentioning cococay and what to do there. Completely misleading and suspicious behavior from the crew.

      The next morning we went for breakfast and ordered our plates. The waiter was really rude to us and served us very late. Next to our table there were some women that arrived later than us and he served them first. Also he took our ketchup from our table without asking and gave it to them. After completing breakfast we left dinning room and he said something not polite and rude to me but I cannot recognize what it was cause he was from India. Then we went to guest relations to find out what happened and one lady told us without any hesitation that it is not their fault and that captain informed the passengers on time which he never really did. Then she told us to just go on deck 1 and exit the ship. We asked what to do in a place like Freeport and she said she did not know and to ask someone else outside of the boat. Also we demanded compensation for the island we never visited but she told us that everybody was credited 20$ for the inconvenience.

      Without knowing what to do and completely angry and frustrated we exited the boat and we catch one local transportation which took us to some beach. We stayed there for a couple of hours and returned to the ship. At night we went again for dinner and we requested to have a table for two but not the one we had the previous night. We were transferred to deck 4 and given another table for two. We waited again long time to be served and food again was mediocre. Again we left dinning room completely disappointed. Next day we stayed in Nassau for few hours and returned to the ship. At night we headed for breakfast and requested a proper table for two and after waiting thirty minutes we were given a table near window. We waited again more than 40 minutes to be served and food was not good. We were at this point so tired of all these stuff so we decided to just go and sleep and wait for next day to leave ship.

     To sum up this has been the worst cruise we have ever experienced so far. We will never choose this cruise line again and we will not recommend to others. We demand compensation for the first day that we missed and for the second day that we were never taken to cococay island.
