Fun cruise to Bahamas

Sail Date: January 03, 2014

Room Type: Oceanview

Cabin: GTY

We took a 3 night cruise to Bahamas, and overall was a good experience. First night was very rocky, never experienced such movement on a cruise, had to be careful walking. Rooms were much smaller than I have had before, but OK as you spend most of your time out of the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was fine, not anything special. Entertainment was OK. We had fun around the pool with the crew dancing and a party atmoshere. CocoCay island was relaxing and the crew brought over and provided a huge buffet lunch of bar-b-qued items. Drinks were expensive, as usual, but the gratuity on each drink was very high. We took a taxi-tour in Nassau, all taxi-drivers that approach you right outside of the ship are licensed and safe and we had a great, fun tour for $25. We didn't have the best weather in January, but a good time.
