Sweating in our cabin, broken air

Sail Date: June 22, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

When they are called repeatedly to fix a problem and management is never even told it is irritating. We wasted a lot of time waiting on maintenance to fix a problem that was never resolved. Oh, we didn't just want to leave the room unattended because the battery in the safe died, our money, wallets, etc were in there delaying our excursion, then they fixed the safe, battery died and it was stuck open. So, in the middle of the night we had to hang a towel over the safe door so it would stop slamming shut. Irritated and not happy. Not my first time on this ship, first experince much better.

Pros: Good service from wait staff

Cons: air conditioning in room broken, hot and humid the entire time, called maintenance four times, over two hours waiting for them to "fix"the problem, but it was not fixed. Called again Sunday, he removed the filter, but it never got cooler. It was so humid our bathing suits did not even dry overnight

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? No.
