DISAPPOINTED

Sail Date: May 21, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Compared to Carnival and NCL, Royal, which was highly recommended, was a disappointment. The cabin was also a disappointment. Handles on dresser were broken. Curtain was off the hooks. The position of the cabin was right underneath the Anchors and we did not sleep due to the noise every night

Pros: The only thing I liked were the shows and cococay

Cons: Food and service

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? No.

Food and Dining
The service was poor. The assistant waiter, Jose, however was wonderful. The dining room opened late every night and we waited for drinks which never made to the table once. Buffet in Windjammer was OK. Breakfast was excellent at Windjammer
Cabin / Stateroom
Poor. Beds very uncomfortable
Ship Quality
Ship size OK. Condition of public area also good
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Excellent
Children's Programs
The kids loved the activities and the staff!
