Comfortable cruising

Sail Date: May 01, 2012

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is not large or opulent, but it was very nice, clean, well maintained, and we could find our way around it after just a few hours. Our stateroom was surprisingly roomy (deck 9) and there was plenty of drawer space and light. The bathroom was fine as well. The food was good...not "to die for", but good. The selections for dinner were a little limited compared to some other cruises we've been on, but, hey, we always found something we liked on the menu. The entertainment was decent, the activities were varied and those we joined in were quite fun. We enjoyed this low key cruise very much, and ranked RCI our #2 of 5 cruise lines we've been on so far.

Pros: The crew was the most friendly crew we've ever met (this was our 5th cruise)

Cons: 9pm dining time...that was a poor choice on our part...it's really too late to eat

Definitely one of the best most friendly crews we've had the pleasure to sail with up to this point.
