For an older ship it was well maintained.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
All guests at our table were disapointed in surcharge for lobster and filet mingon. It was surprize since we just had been on another Royal Caribbean cruise in January where there was no extra charges for the same items.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows were stale, they use the same material from ship to ship. The dance show was not high quality. The most impressive activity was when the ship accommodated a room, food and aticles necessary for passengers to conduct their service.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Overall staff was good; however a few individuals need training in hospitality.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship is well maintained for the age.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The room was clean and a great value for the size.

This time the food was not as spectacular as in the past. There should be a non smoking area on Cococay for people who don't enjoy secondhand smoke.
Don't Miss: The rich blue water

The shopping was great. Atlantis was not as impressive as it was advertised and was overpriced.
Don't Miss: Duty free shopping.

Don't Miss: Sloppy Joes, Hemmingway's House

Pros: Waiter was outstanding

Cons: some employees not hospitable, charging for lobster and filet mingon on formal night, smoking on private island, high price for bingo. Quality not comparable to previous Royal Caribbean cruise.

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!
