Way better than Carnival!

WE absolutely LOVED this ship. The layout of the ship was easy and user friendly. This may sound funny and you may have never of given much thought to it. We didn't either until we cruised on Carnival. On Royal Carribean you can go front to back (of ship) freely. On Carnival we would go to the back, only to find that we had to take an elevator to a different floor to access rear of the ship. Many times we would take elevator to different floor, again only to find that we were still on the wrong floor . Very confusing and staff was not knowledgeable of the ships layout. Would direct us in wrong direction most of the time.

As we mentioned earlier, the interior rooms are small, but what interior room of any ship isn't. The service more than made up for any room size issues. Our stateroom attendant was fantastic. The head waiter, assistant waiter, bar tender and Maitre D' were also great! ALL of them remembered us by name. You just can't compare the level of service, Royal Carribean is the BEST. On Carnival, we HAD to tip the Maitre D', which we NEVER met. We had to find our own table, as no one would help us. They just pointed and said, "your table is on the other side".

The food was also way better! The quality was awesome, portions were adequate. I would sometimes order double and sometimes three orders of any dish. It was never a problem. I could eat as much as I wanted.

Pros: Ships layout was easy to get around. Food, service, room servce, BAR service!

Cons: Rooms were small, BUT the stateroom Attendant was EXCELLENT!
