WOW, and Boy am I full!

Sail Date: October 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

This was a very nice trip. Ship is the smallest in the fleet, and a bit aged at 19 years or so. But she was in prime condition. Atruim left a bit to be desired. When you board a ship you like the first step on to be spectacular, but with Majesty in wase't there. Food was great a service in the dining room was amazing.

Pros: Service, wide variety of "social scenes"

Cons: Size of cabin, bit small

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Size was small. Again, She is the smallest in the current fleet. But still she stood tall and proud in the dockage at almost an 1/8 of a mile long!!
Food and Dining
Buffet items were held too long in heating cabinets, made protiens dry. Definetly opt for the deli/cafe areas or dining room
Cabin / Stateroom
Great room. I chose a room that was about 6 rooms from the aft on a higher deck and two days later I am still listing from side to side. There was very choppy weather, Hurricane season, rained a bit. but its the ocean, no fault of the ship.
Service and Staff
My dining room staff was off the charts!! Janet (Philipines) - Lead waiter/ captain, Terrance (india) front waiter, and Jose - support waiter were all great!!!! On the flip side we went to breakfast twice in the other dining room, starlight and recieved bad service. Didn't understand it.
Children's Programs
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
we went to the island with an open mind. It was nice and quiet. had to walk a long way to explore what was on the island. Should have had some sort of map with descriptions about what is what. Never got to see cocnut willies (whatever it was) walked to water park (lame!) $30 dollars!! for what a slide and some stuff floating in the water. Not cool. Straw market people were not nice, food lines were very unorganized, too hard to find a seat, needed more staff to clear tables and haul trash, very messy, not happy with this one. We went on Norwegian Cruise line Sky last year to Stirrup Cay. Now that was a great time.!!! it was happening.
Don't Miss: none
Nassau, Bahamas
Great Island. Port is in bad location. don't recommend
