An Excellent Quick Getaway for the Price

I wanted to take my wife for a quick getaway. After you figure all of the ship activities, meals, ports of call and the shows there is no way you get a better deal in Vegas, or at a hotel in some resort. The trip time was long enough but not too long for our travel plans. The ship staff was very professional and kind and all of the ships services were done with the utmost professionalism. My wife and I had gone on the Monarch of the Seas 13 years ago, for our honeymoon and now her sister ship the Majesty and were just as pleased as we were 13 years ago. The cruise director was fantastic and the ship's shows and acts were top notch along with the service staff.

Pros: Qulaity of Serivces, Professionalism, Price

Cons: nothing

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!

Great shows in quality and performance, fantastic cruise director, fun side activities for dancing, trivia and games. The planning was perfect!
Ship Quality
The ship was always clean, all public areas etc...I noticed the carpet looked worn in some areas, but that is to be expected with the amount of traffic daily. As for the ship it was easy to get around and after an hour we pretty much knew where everything was.
Food and Dining
Meals were great! The final night was especially good. Some of the menu choices didn't appeal to me and the buffet were not as good as other food areas in the ship. The Compass Deli was the best place to go. It was the hidden gem. Excellent food was served there!
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was perfect and our attendant was great! Our room were always clean, even one night there was a small problem with the sink which was fixed ASAP. Always go deck 7 or above!
Service and Staff
Nothing more to say than that from the beginning to the end everybody made us feel welcomed and appreciated!
Key West, Florida
Key West was good. It just felt like a Florida though (of course it is). As for special? Nothing really special or unique. There were a few side historical items that were worth seeing.
Nassau, Bahamas
There is nothing about Nassau we didn't love. The people, the variety, the prices, we just fell in love with the island. Also, we didn't even go to Paradise (Atlantis) Island because there was so much to do in and around Nassau. Beautiful people, history, shopping, etc...
Don't Miss: The Straw Market (best shopping and bartering) Rent a scooter for the day and tour the island on your own. You will discover your own beaches and the Bahamas.
