Cruise pros and cons

Sail Date: January 11, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Extremely small rooms!! The rooms on Carnival are much more spacious and laid out much nicer. The staff was extremely nice though. They made up for a lot.
We wnt with 2 small children and went to the Dining Room to eat one night and that was a mistake becase after 2 hours we had to leave because our kids could't sit any longer. We did get our whole meal but we didn't even make it to desert. Once again though the staff was extemely nice and entertaining.

Pros: Wonderful staff and Coco Cay

Cons: Going to Nassau on a Sunday when half the shops are closed!! Royal Carribbean spent all this time into promoting the shopping but failed to mention that half the stores would be closed. I was furious!

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!

Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
This is our second time to Coco Cay and it was AWESOME again. This is the reason we went on this cruise. If you get off the ferry boat and go to your right there is the whole side of the island that most people don't walk to. It is less crowded and you will find a lot of sea life. We found Sting rays( very friendly) sea cucumbers, conch shells and starfish just to name a few.
Don't Miss: The whole eastern side of the island. (right when you get off the ferry)
Nassau, Bahamas
I am only saying this because once again the wonderful cruiseline took use to an isalnd on Sunday when stuff is closed. We did go to the beach at Paradise island and it was good as long as you can handle someone trying to sell you something every 10 seconds. The water and the sand was beautiful though. Glad I saw it.
