My family and I went on the perfect Majesty of the Seas 3 night weekend getaway. We got to Miami the night before and stayed in a hotel which gave us free transportation to the Port of Miami. The next morning, embarkation was smoothe as possible. Within minutes we were on the ship and eating our stomaches away at the Windjammer Cafe on deck 11. That lunch buffet was very good and had much variety. Also, our rooms were ready by 1:30, so after eating, we went to our rooms. We had two people per room. You really shouldnt have more people than 3 per room. One, two or even three are fine. After that, we took a tour of the ship and checked where everything was. Food ServiceThe food service was wonderful. They did everything in their power to make us happy. Our head waiter, Vilma, came to our table every ten minutes to make sure we were doing great. Our other waiter, Michael, was a big help as well because of every specific thing we needed on the food. Hint, if you ask for a certain type of food such as Italian, Chinese or Indian...They will make it for you. EntertainmentNow as for the entertainment, that was amazing. Especially the shows in the chorus line lounge on deck 5 and 7. The first night was a Broadway-style show. Also, the secong night they had the famous newlywed game, which was extremely funny. Also, there was a comedy show both nights before anything started. It was amazing. Teenagers and KidsThe kids and teens programs were alright. There was basketball, which the kids play and enjoy. Then there is the cinema, where they usually go and hang out. There is a club for ages 12 to 14 where they all dance and hang out and at night there is a club for ages 15 to 17. That is a more mature hangout with dancing. Anyojne over 17 is allowed to go to the adult clubs, such as the On Your Toes night club. Also, the kids usually hang out in some of the lounges and have a few cokes or non- alcoholic pina coladas and watch a basketball game or baseball game. They hang out a lot. Room ServiceYes, the room service is FREE, though it is a limited menu, such as hotdogs...or nachos and turkey sandwiches and snacks and desserts, such as cheesecakes and chocolate cake. It is wonderful.DrinksYou MUST pay for drinks that are alcoholic and soda. I suggest that you get a coke card and that means tht you get unlimited soda throught out the whole cruise. Yes ADULTS AND CHILDREN
