Our First Cruise

Sail Date: March 01, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

This was our first cruise. Even though we had researched what was going on, we were still not able to know what to expect. Cruising met all of our expectations, including the expectation that we were going to spend quite a bit of extra money on this "all inclusive" cruise. They even charged for fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast! Overall we had a great time, and we were treated very well by the staff.

Pros: Friendly Service

Cons: Extra Costs Can Be Found Everywhere

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
The interior stateroom we had was small, but what more do you need? With 3 people it was just fine for our needs (sleeping, changing, and bathing).
Children's Programs
There were many activities that our young teen could have taken part in. Those that did seemed to be having great fun.
Ship Quality
This is a smaller ship, but it is comfortable and clean.
There was always something to do either onboard or at the ports.
Food and Dining
The food was very good and the service was excellent.
Service and Staff
Everyone on the ship went out of their way to make our cruise comfortable and enjoyable. Since they work mainly for the tips you can see why this happens.
