Cruise between hurricanes

Sail Date: September 05, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Left Miami between Hannah and Ike. Unable to go to Coco Cay due to conditions, went straight to Nassau and spent the day there. Always enjoy it, once you run the gauntlet and get to the street. Try "Fish Fry", a short 10 minute walk in the direction of cable beach. More of a locals hangout than the port or Paradise Island. Spent Sunday at sea, cruising toward Grand Bahama, then south along the edge of the Stream.

Pros: Chillin'

Cons: liked it all

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Seems to have been re-fit recently. Everything as new
Food and Dining
I'm partial to RC food over Carnival, but taste is individual. Hard to beat Johnny Rockets! Ate from the windjammer buffet, never saw the dining room. I prefer to be casual.
Cabin / Stateroom
Excellent ocean view cabin on deck nine.
Service and Staff
Staff friendly to a fault. Must be nice to enjoy your job!
Nassau, Bahamas
Surprise, the Green Parrot is no longer on P.I. Moved to the main island. Atlantis is neat, but hate to see them Buy up everything for their resort.
