Review summary

For being over 15 years old the ship showed natural wear and tear, but did NOT display lack of attention given to keep it up. Very clean, big enough, but not to big. Decent amount to do if you're looking for an activity type ship. Probably not enough chairs in good sun spots if we'd caught days where everyone wants to sun tan, but was adequate for our needs because of the average weather. Some designer details seemed a little stuck in it's maiden voyage era, but still very satisfactory.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The only thing that kept this from a perfect rating was the decor of the main dining area. It was very nice, but as elegant as i had expected. The ambiance did not meet up with the pristine service. Not a downfall, but would only help. The food was absolutely excellent. A wide ranged menu, for all, never failed to impress.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Im easy to please here simply because i dont need anything to do. Sitting with a drink in my hand and listening to music all week is all i wanted. But for those who like the activities, physical in specific, there seemed to be more than enough to do.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Was VERY impressed with the staff. After coming in contact w/ a good 75-100 staff members, i can honestly say i maybe found 2 people having a bad day, which people are entitled to. Was a bit hesitant, found it to be nothing but impressive.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
This is the only area that even came close to lacking. The ship size was perfect. Like i stated above, the decor was a bit dated. The ship had shown some natural wear and tear, but was clean none the less. The accessibility and layout were the only frustrations that i experienced. This is only because the three most popular floors did not display a true thoroughfare from one end to the other, which became frusterating if you accidently started walking the wrong way. Luckily, myself and my shipmate were able to hoof it up and down the stairs because we're young. This could cause second thoughts on taking this ship again for seniors.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Being we had an inside room, i didnt expect much. Very clean, but compared to competitive lines w/ a ship from the same era, a bit smaller. You had what you needed, no complaint from there. Excellent water pressure too!

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

3 out of 5
A second time there didnt change my so so feelings from the previous. Pretty crowded, but some of the nicest locals you'll find.
Don't Miss: Margaritaville- Just to say you've been.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Being it was my 3rd time there, i hadnt seen to much that was new. Beware of the swarming of human advertisments as soon as you come ashore. Cutting a deal w/one of the locals in the shopping district is always an experience. Aside from that, it is nice to say you're in the Bahamas.
Don't Miss: The Atlantis on Paradise Island - Take the ferry.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
The service and quality on the ship, follows you on to their private island. Great experience, a must do.
Don't Miss: The beach, you wont get away from it.

Pros: Bang for the buck, Service, Food, Friendliness

Cons: Ship layout, IE: You have to go up to get down because floors were cut off at some point.
