Happy at Sea

Sail Date: January 30, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

When we entered the ship we were amazed at the beauty and the ease of finding things. What made the ship nice besides the fancy things was the hired help. Everyone was so helpful and willing to point us in the right direction.

Pros: Friendly Staff, Great Food, Enjoyable Activities

Cons: Bad weather and water

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Everything we needed was on this ship. From swimming to fine dining to even a small theatre we enjoyed it all.
Food and Dining
The buffet was delicious but even better was the nightly dinner dining room. I wasn't expecting such great choices and gourmet meals. Each night we had options of many tasty meals.
Cabin / Stateroom
We tried to get the cheapest room available for two reasons. #1. It was our first cruise and we wanted to try it out before we spent a lot of money and #2. We figured we wouldn't spend much time in the room with everything else going on so we didn't want to have to pay for it. It was easy to get to as well as all of the staterooms and was clean and orderly each time we turned around.
Service and Staff
It was almost like we met friends for life. The staff was wonderful. From our dining room staff to our stateroom attendent, everyone was so fun, helpful and happy. Each day we were allowed to see what made the staff so wonderful. Each day the succeeded.
Entertainment
There were so many fun things to do and see. We didn't even pay for entertainment because there were so many other free options. The shows really were amazing.
Nassau, Bahamas
The shopping near the port had all sorts of fun things. People were kind. We actually went in a litle more and got to see the real Bahamas which wasn't that impressive. I was expecting more from the Bahamas but it was still a neat place to be. We didn't have much time to see anything else. The day goes fast on land.
Don't Miss: If you are a girl a few bucks can get you a few braids that are fun.
