4 Night Bahamas (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: October 20, 2008
Ship: Majesty of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 9 years ago

The ship was okay, however the ocean was rocky for the entirety of the trip and the ship was VERY rocky- many passengers were sick.

Food and Dining

I have been on a cruise previously and it was with another cruise line. Their food was 10X better than the food here. The Windjammer cafe was worse than a highschool cafeteria and even the sit down formal night offered below average food selections and taste.

The shows in the evening were average- the daytime activities were below par. We were often bored.

Service and Staff

This varied amongst staff members. Some were just rude. When our excursion was canceled without any notice- the reservation desk was not apologetic and did nothing for us to fix it.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had an ocean view- this was the one thing we were happy with. The only negative here was that we left something behind, called the company immediately only to be told that the housekeeper didn't find it (even after we left a substantial tip)- ...you know it's on ebay now.

Both myself and my boyfriend had been here before- it is very run down and was just okay to walk through.
Don't Miss: Senor Frogs- had the most "fun"

Would have been fine if the weather was cooperative.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling was fun here.

I had been prior and love it here. There wasn't enough time alotted to get in everything and the weather did not cooperate.
Don't Miss: Duval Street.

Pros: The staterooms were cozy.

Cons: Excursion options, food, daytime activities.

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? No.
