It is difficult to enjoy the many nice aspects when you only get 4-5 hours of sleep per night because of rolling carts, footsteps and the clatter of Room Service less than 8 feet over your head. This room should not have been made available for passengers.

Despite our going through RCL to plan the cruise, they assigned our three children to different "muster stations" and said it is too hard to try to coordinate them so that they would be with us in the event of an emergency.

RCL generously cut $150 off of our bill because of the inconvenience and offered us 30% on our next cruise (initially just for my wife and I, subject to restrictions, etc.). It's like getting a discount on your next root canal!

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
No diet soda in dining room two out of three nights, and we were in the first seating...

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Lots of things to do, except we were too tired to do much of it

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Lots for kids to do (if they weren't napping during the day due to lack of sleep)

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Except that they could not fix the situations described above.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Room 4045, 4049 directly under Room Service. Do not book rooms in this area!!!

Pros: Friendly Crew, Good Food, Nice Ship

Cons: Room service woke us up at 3:30am each day, RCL staff insisted on assigning our children to separate lifeboats and stations

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? No.
