Room Service Over Our Heads
Majesty of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Ship: Majesty of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (young children)
Reviewed: 10 years ago
It is difficult to enjoy the many nice aspects when you only get 4-5 hours of sleep per night because of rolling carts, footsteps and the clatter of Room Service less than 8 feet over your head. This room should not have been made available for passengers.
Despite our going through RCL to plan the cruise, they assigned our three children to different "muster stations" and said it is too hard to try to coordinate them so that they would be with us in the event of an emergency.
RCL generously cut $150 off of our bill because of the inconvenience and offered us 30% on our next cruise (initially just for my wife and I, subject to restrictions, etc.). It's like getting a discount on your next root canal!

Pros: Friendly Crew, Good Food, Nice Ship
Cons: Room service woke us up at 3:30am each day, RCL staff insisted on assigning our children to separate lifeboats and stations
