4 Night Bahamas (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: December 04, 2006
Ship: Majesty of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple

Not bad for a 4 day, first time sail. Not enough information flowed about missed Ports of Call and water/plumbing issues. Crew works hard and are very polite. Better communication would have gone a long way to making this more enjoyable.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Plenty of food. Service was great. Staff needs to run people out of the casual dining area to make room for others trying to find a place to eat.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Two one hour shows each night. We expected more. Too many activities for small groups. Bingo, trivia.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Attentive and courteous.

Ship Quality

Carpets, etc... for next months refurb were piled on the deck. Areas were not accessible because some work had already started.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean, neat, functional. Staff was very attentive. New beeding etc... was stored under the bed and in the hallway for next months refurb.

Everything is 100 yards from the ship if you are a shopper. It wasn't someplace I would clamor to visit again.

Great fun. Lots to do. HGTV tour was interesting but long. Conch Trolleys are fun for a quick look around. Margaritas!
Don't Miss: The Hog's Breath Saloon

Pros: Crew was great. Rooms were comfortable. Key West was fun. Nassau was okay.

Cons: Toilets shut off. Portions of ship closed for repairs. Too casual. People need to dress for dinner. Entertainment was fair. Crew needs to control the crowds when people are exciting the ship. Cattle call.

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!
