Beautiful boat, VERY clean

We resently cruised on Majesty of the Sea and found it so-so. The boat was beautiful and extremely clean throughout with a wonderfully hospitable crew who always had a good morning or how are things for us.
Our discontent came from the poor plumbing throughout the boat. The toilet in our room would not flush every 3rd of 4th time. As for the toilets elsewhere, many where not functioning either creating a most unmemorable jaunt to find another set in hopes that they would be functioning.
The outside, window cabin that I chose lacked that wow appeal when we walked in as the bedspreads where faded and thin in appearance and the positioning of the furniture made the room appear small. The TV was uncomfortably placed at the foot of the beds and was only about 13 inches wide, making even trying to relax in you cabin for awhile an unpleasant experience. The beds where twins that could be made into a full. I pitty the travelers who would have to sleep on them in that position as they where just tolerable as twins with the frame edges noticable to the feel.
In essence, I left with a great feeling of the staffs ability, a weight gain from the great meals, constipated from inadequate waste system and tired from lack of relaxation when watching TV and attempted sleep.

Pros: Cleanliness and politeness of ALL the crew

Cons: Toilets in room and about boat frequently not flushing

Entertainment
I didn't feel as included or aware of the goings on of the boat as the daily letters where very wordy and you had to trudge through it all and still not sure what was at what time. Didn't seem to have as much going on as Carnival boats.
The vocalist in the stage show where superb, but the dancers where lacking in alingment and skill levels with a strong one standing out from the group as did a weak one. Making for an overall performance rating of not enjoyable. The costumes where destracting but the music selection what great as where the vocalist.
Food and Dining
The food was very good but somehow lacked that wowability at times. Waiter Petgin? was very accomadating and funny.
Ship Quality
New carpet throughout and never saw a mess with tables always available to eat in Windjammer Cafe. Pool chair plentiful and in great shape.
Service and Staff

Nassau, Bahamas
Unless participating in "paid activities" was only able to shop. Shop staff not welcoming, just so so with exception of Del Sol where they where very helpful. Left feeling, " had we not visited Cococay it would have been a waisted trip. Paradise Island excursion should have been part of the package so that we could have enjoyed a sandy beach to relax on!
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
A beautiful island with plenty of places to relax or participate in activities. Didn't particularly care for the food being just out there with flies having a party. Feared food poisoning from the chicken and creamy salads.
