Nice Vacation

Sail Date: July 01, 2014

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The Maasdam is a clean\, decent mid-sized ship. Not extravagant or improved with the \"raz-a-ma-taz\" of other ships. The passengers tend to \"lean\" older\, the audience in some of the shows was most \"laid back.\" Dining Room food was good. The Pinnacle Grill was not exceptional and the service was slow. For a limited budget and limited facility ship\, the entertainment was enjoyable. By the end of the cruise\, the warmth of the crew was appreciated. We did have inclement weather days\, especially in Halifax\, and there wasn't much to do on board when the port day was pretty much abbreviated. Bar Harbor Maine was the best port because of the beautiful weather day we enjoyed in that port. This was a nice cruise and a nice area of the world\, but if one wants a \"little more life on board\,\" you might want to check out other cruises.

Pros: Helpfulness of Crew\, Dining Room Food

Cons: Lack of Activities During Inclement Weather Days
