Review summary

First time on the Liberty. It’s a nice ship and would like to go again after her revamp. I liked the ease of getting around and not getting lost every time I exited an elevator like I did on the Harmony😊🙃

Embarkation

Quick and easy!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Good as all of the others we’ve experienced.

Pub

Loved the nightly sing alongs! So much fun!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the solarium. Especially the pool.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice show was excellent. It was just as good as the one on the Harmony! Extremely talented skaters!

On Air Club

3 out of 5

RCI almost always has karaoke here. They need to move it to the Star lounge. There was never enough room for everyone.

Children's Programs

No kids with us

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
This was our 4th cruise with RCI. The service didn’t come close to any that we’ve experienced on previous trips. Somewhat disappointing. Two days in a row our room wasn’t made up. Had to ask for towels and menus. Never had to do this previously. Main waiter in the dining room must have been new. He seemed overwhelmed. Our assistant waiter was excellent!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Loved the layout. I saw dust in several places. Never had noticed that before.

Cabin / Stateroom

Normal cruise cabin. If you’ve cruised before, it’s pretty much the same as all the others. Bed was like a rock.

Ship tip

Explore all of the ship. So many quiet places. Loved that!

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

First time to cruise out of this port. Wasn’t impressed. Didn’t do an excursion.

Cozumel, Mexico

Port was fine. We did the dune buggy and snorkel. It was excellent! So much fun and the margaritas at the beach were amazing!

George Town, Grand Cayman

Have to take a tender to this port. We love the Caymans. We took the best of the West excursion. Beach was awesome!

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Extremely clean and well maintained. Obviously it’s owned by Royal, so wouldn’t expect anything less. We did the Blue beach transfer. After being in the Caymans the day before, the beach wasn’t too exciting but the entertainment was fun. The jerk chicken pizza was good.

Disembarkation

We always opt for the latest time so to avoid the crowds. Gives us a chance to eat breakfast in the MDR and it’s was to find luggage when yours is about the only ones left😊

Traveler Photos
