I would recommend this ship if they fixed two big issues:
1) The windjammer caf (which is the primary restaurant for breakfast and lunch) is overly crowded. You just can't find a seat. If you do find a seat\, then don't get up because it will be taken. Getting around the buffet is an exercise in dodging people. It simply wasn't enjoyable eating breakfast or lunch at the windjammer caf. The trick\, I guess\, is to go grab your food and go back to your cabin\, but that is only viable if your cabin is somewhat close to the caf and if your cabin is big enough to actually have a table where you can enjoy a meal (Jr. Suite and above).
2) They need to fix the disembarkation process. It is not a fun experience with which to conclude your voyage. First\, the cruise ship after about 7pm on your last evening makes you feel like \"OK. Thanks for coming. Now get off.\" Second\, the whole luggage\, lines\, customs\, etc. experience is just a nasty way to end a trip. You basically will need another vacation to undo the stress of that final morning.

Pros: Service was great. Ship amenities were good.

Cons: Very crowded. Disembarkation process is a nightmare.

Recommends Liberty of the Seas? No.

Ship Quality
The ship is amazing. Lot's to do and see. Downside is that it's just way too crowded\, but that is what it takes to pay for an $800 million ship.
Food and Dining
Food overall was average. Dinner was pretty good\, but the problem was that in order to have a nice dinner in the main dining room it will take 2 hours. You can't do it in less than 1 hour.
Also\, the food at the windjammer is average and in order to eat healthy/quality food you will have to make special requests or do a bit of hunting around the buffet.
Cabin / Stateroom
Everything was in top shape. A few things are starting to show wear\, but that's getting picky.
Service and Staff
For the most part the ship's staff was excellent. The cabin attendant was way above average. With only a few exceptions\, everyone on board did an outstanding job. The one exception\, be careful of what the excursion sales staff tell you. They have no qualms about exaggerating or embellishing in regards to the various excursions they offer in order to make a sale. Think of your typical \"used car salesman\" stereotype.
Children's Programs
I think the ship is great for teens to go around and explore on their own. For 12 and under\, I would just keep them with me. I'm not one to shove them in to a glorified day care center and that is what the ship offers.
