An Excellent Cruise and Ports to choose

Sail Date: February 13, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

This is our 5th cruise and RC Liberty of the Seas was the nicest so far. Been on both Carnival and other RC and the contstant amount of entertainment make the 6 nights go too fast.

Pros: Everything - staff, food, Haiti, Jamaica, excursions and the shows

Cons: Nothing

Recommends Liberty of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony room (not a jr suite) that accommodated 2 adults and 2 kids 14&11 comfortably. If you can afford to bump up to the jr suite I would recommend just for closet size and more room, but the regular rooms accom 4 ppl work just fine.
Service and Staff
The dining and wait staff was amazing. So fun and entertaining.
Definately options for everyone from ice show, air show, 70's dancing, comedy and magic acts. If there is an option to reserve prior to you cruising I would recommend it, but they do allow non-reservations in as well, just if you have a large group and want to sit together recommend reserving online like we did.
Children's Programs
We traveled during a time where there were not many kids aboard (our break was diff in texas vs most other schools) and the staff still made it enjoyable for my boys. They participated every single day and night in everything.
Ship Quality
Extremely clean (traveled during time of norovirus breakouts occuring) and no reports of anyone on this ship. Staff did an excellent job of keeping us clean and safe.
Food and Dining
This is our first cruise where we actually ate dinner in the main dining the whole time. The dinner entres were great. Windjammer also had excellent food too, the wait staff in main dining just made it worth dressing up.
