We had 5 teenage boys, ages 13-16, two girls ages 5,11, and three adults. We are very particular about our vacations and spend hours researching for the best activites, entertainement, rooms and food for the price. Each year we go better then the last year, and have a hard time topping it. We are used to all inclusives resorts, but must say that the Liberty with Royal Carribean exceeded all of our high quality demands. The owners suite was definately worth the upgraded status. The Jr balcony suite did not give you this same privaledges so make sure everyone in your party is in the same type of room so all can enjoy the same bennefits. On Labadee we did zip lining and jet skies. Both were fantastic, if you have zip lined before, you could take a miss on this one and spend more time relaxing on the beach. The jet skies were amazing and kids had a great time.We have done these plenty of times in the past, but this by the best experience, they could go as fast as they wanted and plenty of big waves for the thrill. Jamaica went to Dunns river falls, very crowded, and the 5 yr old had some trouble. Dolphin Cove swim ming with dolphins was awesome. Got to ride their bellies tons of fun, make sure you sign up for the correct excursion, swimming encounter is more expensive the the touch or observe encounters. The teenagers were never bored, although they didn;t like the teen activites with the younger teens. Overall it was an amazing time and we are planning more cruises within the year.

Food and Dining

Never got tired of same food. Dinners were fantastic, bring nice clothes to wear. There was so much variety offered all over the ship for food choices, it was absolutely amazing. The boys also like Johnny Rockets you pay $5 and can order whatever. There are plenty of dining places that you don't have to pay extra money for, but sometimes it a nice treat.

We did not go to many shows during the day or evening on the ship, but there were so many different opportunites and things to do. You should not be bored at all. We went to the comedy show which was great, plus fun pool side activites to keep you entertained during the cruising days.

Children's Programs

Kids club was up to age 11. It was great, kids were happy and entertained. Only negative was on Labadee they did not open until 9-12 and then again from 1-3. We had no idea, and had booked excursions starting at 845 and you could not drop off the kids early. Also picking them up for lunch in the middleof the day was inconvient if you had excursions planned. The teen club was fun, although they mixed the younger 12-14 yr olds too much with the 15-17 yr olds. When the younger ones showed up and were acting their age, the older ones would leave and go do their own thing. Back on the ship, the kids club opened from 645-10, if you had 830 dinner, it was hard to get done in time to pick them up, but you can pay extra if you are late. Also the kids club was open 9-12, then 2-5 and 6:45-10 on cruising days, so plan activites around dropping off and picking up.

Cabin / Stateroom

Had owners suite and Jr Balcony Suite. Definately worth up grading to the owners suite, it gave you perks like the gold card which allowed you private beaches in Labadee, and upgraded meals in Labadee, plus lounge every evening top shelf free drinks and appetizers in lounge. Plus Mario to assist and help book excursions, activites, and meet any needs or problems.

Pros: suites, food, relaxing, activites,

Cons: kids program hours
