An O.K. cruise...we have had better

Sail Date: January 31, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

This is our 12th cruise and we have seen a tremendous change in the way the cruise lines have eliminated some of the nice things we have enjoyed over the years...Example...Midnight buffets have been totally eliminated, the quality of food has gone down...way down, the service staff seems to have been downgraded in size thereby not allowing the service staff to give the kind of service they have given in the past....No more chocolates on your pillow at night (not that we ever consumed them) but a very obvious cut back which makes one wonder, what else did they cut back on????
We have always considered Cruises our favorite way to vacation but are now seriously looking into other options and perhaps looking into different Cruise lines to see if they follwed the suit of the Royal Carribean line.

Pros: Very nice ship

Cons: Food seems to have gone down in quality, probably since Carnival took over...Drinks while gambling should be free.
