We had a small fridge in the room, so I took a salad and a yogurt for a late night snack from the restaurant that offered the lighter fare. That way I did not have to be confined to only what room service offered and did not have to pay a late night room service fee.
Check out the Park Cafe in the solarium for a great salad, sandwich or late night snack.
The various musicians on this ship were great. I enjoyed just sitting an listening to them. We went to the Schooner Bar each evening and it was very enjoyable.
The Schooner Bar is right next to the Casino!! I like the lunch cafe area for healthy eating in the adults only/solarium area. A nice menu.
The solarium pool was a great place for me, swimming, relaxing, food and friends. A great place to hang out while at sea.
Spend evenings in the adult pool area. Great view and lots of seating.
Have a drink at the Victory Lounge on the top deck - very relaxing and reflective atmosphere Becomes a dance lounge later in the night but that was a great time on those couple of nights we chose to stick around and dance.
Would not have wanted to be much closer to the Centrum due to music at night, etc.
Take full advantage of the many facilities available.
There were activities for all different types, from basic language lessons, to single or couples dance lessons to art seminars.
Casino took my money :(
Old, tired vessel that needs to be retired
The Legend of the Seas may be okay for first time cruisers, although if this was our first and only cruise, I may not cruise again.
Our cabin was ample size for 3 ladies. I loved the big window looking out to the ocean. We always looked forward to dinner and although we didn't have an assigned dining time, we were almost always seated with the same wait staff making our experience more enjoyable.
Ship is old and in need of maintenance. Recommend staying away from it.
Sleeping in some days and missing breakfast, but enjoying a sit down lunch was a nice change. (especially when you are at sea some days.)
It was hard to find a complementary beverage since the different areas were almost always closed. Lemonade and iced tea are standard beverages but there was always an excuse why lemonade was out, had it only three days out of 14, not acceptable. The beverage packages were priced too high.
The Park Cafe is great for a lighter mid-day meal or late night snack.
Because the ship is not a large ship and people scurrying here and there all of the time, the ship is a very relaxing environment. Mixed crowd with 30% families or young couples, 30% middle age and 30% seniors was best guess we came up with. We like a mixed group.
