A great first cruise

Sail Date: February 10, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was about the right size for our first cruise. Anything bigger might have been intinidating. Ship was clean and well maintained.

Pros: The friendliness of cruise staff and the food at dinner especially.

Cons: A few kids hogged the hot tubs

Recommends Legend of the Seas? Yes!

Belize City, Belize
Mayan ruins tour was exceptional, and our guide was really a sweetheart.
Don't Miss: Mayan ruins
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Missed a fly-fishing trip because I followed directions, but really no one on shore to assist.
Don't Miss: Visitor's port

George Town, Grand Cayman
Rented scooters. No maps or suggestions provided. Kind of on our own around the island. Really too busy for scooters. Probably should have asked for more help from the excursion desk.

Cozumel, Mexico
Dune buggy excursion was super. We snorkeled, had lunch at seaside, and toured the whole island. An all day activity with time for shopping left over.
