Review summary

Overall the ship was clean, and our room was large so we were able to have our whole family visit and eat together. The staff was pleasant and friendly. We brought our two year old daughter with us, but unfortunately she was not allowed to swim in the kids pool because we brought her in a swim diaper. It would be nice if Royal Carribean could post that kind of information on their website, or when we made the reservation that we would have been made aware of that. She was unable to participate in several of our family activities due to not being able to go in the pool.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Still rebuilding from the hurricanes, but has come a long way. We rented cars and drove around the island. Found a beautiful beach at the tip of the island. But the tender services were horrible-took 3 hours at one point to get off the ship, come back on, and get off again. Choppy waters made it very dangerous to at times, which was not the cruise lines fault, but the way the tenders were run, people were sitting in choppy waters being bounced around on the top only loaded boats, waiting for the other tender to disembark, then fill up again. Tenders were a horrible experience at Cozumel.

Neat restaurants, good shopping in port, excellent tour guide for the city tour. Part of our family went tubing into caves and that was their favorite part of the cruise.
Don't Miss: Cave tubing

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Big waste of time and money. The only thing we liked was a "restaurant" that was right on the beach. We paid $180 to be driven to a "zoo" which ended up being a couple of monkeys and turtles in the middle of nowhere. We felt unsafe there.

George Town, Grand Cayman

A must see. Grand Caymen was beautiful, it was easy to get off and back onto the ship with the tenders. We rented a private boat to go and see the sting rays and to snorkle-much cheaper and better than the ships excursions.
Don't Miss: Swim with the sting rays
