Overall impression was that the ship was neat and clean and not too big.

Pros: Entertainment, dining, dancing

Cons: No cigar bar like on Mariner of the Seas

Recommends Legend of the Seas? Yes!

Belize City, Belize
Just did some shopping and drank Belize beer (very good). The people were very friendly.
Cozumel, Mexico
We were in this port about 12 hours so lots of time to go on a snorkel trip and shop.Weather was poor (cloudy and cool) so skipped the plans for water fun. Ended up shopping and stopping periodically for some Mexican beers.
Don't Miss: This was the best shopping port during the entire cruise.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Booked the swimming with Sting Rays before the trip. A great experience. Walked around the town, not much to see and shopping was not good.
Don't Miss: Sting Ray City.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
On the ship, booked the Chacchoben Mayan ruins. An hour bus ride to the site. Well worth the trip. Learned a lot about the culture and history. Very knowlegable guide who spoke fluent English. From discussions with others on the ship, believe Chacchoben is better choice over Kohunlich Mayan ruins.
Don't Miss: Mayan ruins.
