Jewel of the Seas Cruise Review to Alaska - Inside Passage

Spent over $6000 for cruise and excursions. Ship was dirty, windows were filthy, hard to look out at the glaciers with dirty windows, elevator glass had fingerprints all over. Food in the Windjammer was all over the floor and the bar. Smoking was allowed in the casino so often the ship smelled like smoke, especially at night. Bars often only had one bartender so there was always a wait for service. Did not expect such an older crowd, have young kids so this wasn't the best scene for them. Took close to 3 hours to check in, computers went down twice. Passengers were out in the sun, didn't offer any drinks or accommodations. Once we got on the ship, there was no direction on where to go and how to get to the rooms. Kids club was only open three hours at a time and then closed for two hours. Small teen club. The heated indoor pool was for 16+ so kids couldn't use the outdoor pool, it was too cold. Service was good, not as good as I've gotten with other cruise ships, not the workers fault they were often understaffed and many did not understand English very well. Extremely disappointed. :(
