Fabulous cruise vacation

Sail Date: June 01, 2014

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Our overall experience on Jewel of the Seas was excellent. We took our two adult daughters (early-mid 20's) and we had a blast. The beauty of the boat's decor\, the staff\, food\, entertainment\, activities\, amenities and the ports of call were all stellar. Because we were in port every day but one\, we didn't do many of the daily activities on board but would have liked to.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Cost of the internet is expensive

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
I especially liked the Solarium Pool (air conditioned) but with it being enclosed in glass windows felt like being outdoors.
Food and Dining
The food overall was very good with the exception of the coffee in the morning (weak) and the scrambled eggs (watery) in the Windjammer buffet. But the omelets were great! Dinners in the Tides were really good with lots of variety during the week.
Cabin / Stateroom
Loved having a balcony and the room had so much storage which was a surprise. The bed was a little hard.
Service and Staff
The staff was friendly\, efficient and fun! The best!
There was so much to do--I'm sorry we couldn't do more of the activities. There is something for everyone on the ship.
