AN OK CRUISE

Sail Date: February 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Room Type: Balcony

I believe the cruise line is trying to cut as much as possible\, and ask for reviews to see who notices all the cost cuts.

Pros: The Ports of Call

Cons: This ship is to small\, logistics of layout poor

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? No.

Ship Quality
My wife was in a wheel chair. Halls are so narrow you cannot pass with a cart parked in the hall. Which is every morning when the stewarts are stocking\, or making the rooms.Same in the evening.
Food and Dining
You will take their \"free style\" like it or not\, as there is a waiting list for set time dinning.
Cabin / Stateroom
The matress is rounded at the ends\, but you still cannot pass by another person at the foot of the bed. If you are TALL\, you get to sleep with your feet in mid air.
Service and Staff
Staff will help IF ASKED. I did not see any \"above and Beyond\"
Entertainment
Good shows. Not a big drinker\, but thought 11.50 per drink plus gratuity seems high.
Children's Programs
Had 9 year old grandaughter with us\, they had a very good program for her.
