A nice getaway

Sail Date: December 01, 2012

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

This was our first time on a Royal Caribbean ship so we were comparing it with our (so far favorite) previous Holland America cruises. It was also the first time we chose a balcony. Loved the balcony but found the stateroom cramped. Food was good in the Tides with excellent service; in the Windjammer there were lots of choices. We did not especially like the entertainment (the last show was aborted due to technical difficulties) and the activities did not entice us. However\, we had a good time\, made new friends\, and enjoyed being on board.

Pros: The public rooms were beautiful

Cons: Tight balcony stateroom
