A very nice cruise destination.

Room Type: Inside

Ship was very clean, decor was beautiful and the food was very good. Got people on and off very quickly. Had a little problem with my luggage when we boarded. Boarded ship at 11:00 a.m. but my luggage did not reach our room until after 5:00 p.m. because they did not know where my luggage was. Went to security, luggage was not there, was told to ask my room attendant to help locate my luggage.

Pros: Entertainment in the Coral Theater. Also Dennis Charles was a very good cruise director\, so was Becky. Dinner in the Tides was very good and our waiter (Nenad) and asst.. waiter (Irina) were very good and were very nice to everyone. Breakfast in the Windjammer was excellent..

Cons: Would have liked more things to do in the evening (karaoke\, games). Also not many food choices later in the evening. No pizza \, hot dog station or ice cream. Movie theatre was very small and seats were very uncomfortable. Certain parts of the 7th floor had a sewer smell.

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Sewer smell on the 7th floor hallway on the way to the Centrum. Movie theater was small\, seats uncomfortable.
Food and Dining
Food in the Tides Dining room was very good\, service was wonderful. Windjammer food was also very good for breakfast and lunch\, did not go there for dinner.
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was very clean\, our attendant Catcha was wonderful. Always had nice clean bed and towels. Rooms layout was a bit tight had to manuever around closet\, entrance door and bathroom.
Service and Staff
Most people working on ship were friendly however some were not so friendly.
Entertainment was very good (shows). Cruise director Dennis Charles and Becky were excellent. Would have enjoyed more karaoke organization in the bar area. Although bands (Suave and Moses Trio) were excellent\, it got a little boring night after night. Would have been better with more of a variety. Some events like the Tango Buenos Aires in the Safari Club were too close in time proximity with first seating dinner\, so we were not able to participate.
