7 Night Canada/New England (Boston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: October 07, 2012
Ship: Jewel of the Seas
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

I have a very good overall impression of the ship and would gladly sail on it again. Just about the right size. I would never care to board one of the mega monstrosities they are building these days. In the past, we've used Holland-America and this ship compares favorably but for the negatives I mentioned earlier.

Loved the ship's very own band. Great for listening and dancing. The other activities (games/contests and the like are just not our choice\, but we understand that many do like these things.)

Pros: Great ship! Best features were the service and the dining.

Cons: The Centrum constantly had loud activities that\, because it is an open atrium\, spread upwards\, making quiet reading or conversation nearly impossible. The library was sad--few books and little space to read.
