Review SummaryWe definitely recommend the Jewel and Royal Caribbean. This was our first cruise and we were highly skeptical that we would like it. Once we got onboard we realized just how wrong we were. The service was incredible. From the time you walk on the ship the staff know your name and are there to take care of your every need. The ship was very clean and although the room was small, the bed was amazingly comfortable and we both slept great. The food was fantastic, particularly in the Tides Dining room. Highly recommend having one dinner in the Chops Steakhouse. It was well worth the extra money. The Cruise Director Dennis Charles was amazing and the entertainment was on par with some of the best Broadway productions. The only downside was how much the ship moves around in choppy seas. The first day was great but by day 2 we hit some weather and even with a motion sickness patch we all were feeling queasy. Not sure if you had a bigger boat if it would move around as much.

Pros: The service was incredible!
Cons: We had 2 days of rough seas and the boat moved around a lot, particularly in the theater. If you get motion sick be sure to come prepared.
