The jewel was very nice and as expected since we had sailed on her sister the Radiance last year. The ship was basically spotless and tidy although the common areas like the Centrum and hallway carpeting are beginning to look worn. To be somewhat nit-picky, the outside glass of the balconies and areas like the Spa and Gym could have been cleaner, detracting somewhat from the otherwise spectacular ocean views the ship design affords. Our 6 and 8 year olds had a great time in Adventure Ocean although the Pirate Night activity was not as well done as on the Radiance (no meeting with Captain, no opportunity to go on stage in the Theater). The Shine band seemed to have a very limited repertoire (I used to like Dire Straits before the trip!) but the DJ and the Reggae band were great. Dining service was mostly great although the predominant use of tables for 12 gave it a more impersonal feel and slowed down breakfast service to the point that we used the Windjammer on all but one morning. Windjammer food was great.

Not as good as on the Radiance
Food and Dining
Too many 12 top tables. First time I was served cold water lobster tales for dinner, that was superb!
