Jewel of the Seas is indeed a Jewel!

Sail Date: March 12, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is well maintained, the decor is tasteful and pleasing, and there is always somewhere to escape the crowd and be all by yourself on this well-laid-out ship.

Pros: The private spaces all over the ship.

Cons: The animal cruelty at the port of Costa Maya - big cats ripped from their mothers and drugged so tourists can have a photo. They are probably either killed or kept in awful conditions once their usefulness is over.
