A Relaxing Time

Sail Date: March 08, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The Jewel of the Sea is a very beautiful ship - I liked the Centrum area - it was easy access, however, our room on deck 4 - it seemed that the housekeeping carts were always in the hallway - I slipped and sprained ankle in Windjammer and the onboard doctor wanted me to use a wheelchair and to get to the dining room form our hallway straight shot - we had to go up to five and then down again.!

Pros: The Evening shows and the food was very good

Cons: Not enough entertainment during the day - mostly Trivia and Bingo

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Room seemed small - and it seemed that our stateroom was not cleaned as quickly as we would have liked - we left the room early in the morning putting the please make up room in the slot, but sometime by 2p it still was not made up. Also we only saw our room steward the first day. Also we had an Oceanview room but the headboard was in front of the window so we were unable to look out the oceanview.

The entertainment shows were excellent, however there really wasnt much to do during the day
