A Wonderful Getaway!

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

I liked the size of the ship, lots to do and see and it didn't feel too crowded 90% of the time. The food was excellent, room service was great- even excessive at times. We'd leave our room for an hour to grab some food and come back to find the bed made, which was nice, only we left our clothes and things scattered all over it not expecting anyone to come by. The room was pretty cramped but comfortable- the port hole was really nice to sit and just watch the sea. Some of the activities I felt were over priced- bingo was fun but it cost about $75, granted one person did win a free cruise and cash prizes were around $200 but only 4-5 of the 100+ players won anything. Photographers on board were nice, lots of great photos but they wanted $20 each for a 5x7, no thanks.

Pros: Crew was great, loved the shore excursions!

Cons: 5 Nights is not enough!

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Pretty small for two people but there was good closet and drawer space- You sure need it!
Always something to do! (but it might cost you)
Ship Quality
Everything was very clean and well kept.
Food and Dining
Meal service was awesome, buffet was okay.
